| Two
juvenile athletes from Inishowen A.C. competed in the AAI national
track & field finals in Tullamore last weekend. On Saturday,
Kieran Devlin finished a very commendable 5th in the U15 boys’
long jump with a best of 4.78m. A day later, Stephen Devlin
raced to his second personal best of the season and a new Club
record when he finished 9th in the U15 boys’ 800m in 2
minutes 10. 64 seconds.

Logan from Buncrana completed her second triathlon in as many
weeks when finishing in 1 hour and 31 minutes in Athlone at
the weekend. Over 1500 athletes completed the sprint distance
which consisted of a 650m swim, 20k cycle and a 5k run. Due
to the strong currents on the river Shannon, the swim was reduced
from 750m.

MEMORIAL 4.2M RESULTS
Anna
Doherty, Eilish Bell, Chantal Busek, Finbarr Gallagher, Katrina
Mills, Karl Doherty, Theresa Doherty and Helena Crossan participated
in the 14 mile charity run from Drumfries to Culdaff on Saturday.
The run was organized in conjunction with the Letterkenny to
Culdaff cycle in aid if the RNLI as part of the Culdaff Water
Sports Society fun weekend. Sincere thanks to all in the Culdaaff
Water Sports Society for their help and support.

Events
The Donegal Grand Prix progresses to race number 13 this Friday
with the Churchill 5k at 7.30 pm. The Furey Insurance Jog in
the Bog 5k takes place on Tuesday 24th July at 7.30pm. Changing
facilities at Pilot's Row Community Centre, Lecky Road/William
Street Intersection. The concluding race of this series takes
place on Saturday 4th August at 7.30pm in Muff. The Clonmany
5km takes place on Friday 10th August at 7.30pm. Finally, training
for senior athletes takes place every Tuesday at 6.30 pm from
the Buncrana Leisure Centre. New members are welcome to come
along.
